Karen Victoria Jennifer Harrison! Fondly known as Jenny and one of THE best friends I’ll ever have. So here's a funny story that we always laugh about. We live in different states, and one year Jenny spent the entire summer here. We had a blast, but all good things must come to an end. A couple of days before she had to leave, we were sitting in my room, talking about how much we're going to miss each other, and Jenny starts to cry...BITTERLY! Being the older one, I stayed calm and tried to console her but she just wouldn't stop. I've never seen someone so inconsolable over having to go back home! Anyway, she walks over to the window, still weeping uncontrollably, and tries to draw the curtain. But the curtain rod ended up falling and hitting her in then head! It was a hilarious sight but I didn't think it would be appropriate to laugh at that moment! But then she started to laugh...and then cry...and then laugh and cry at the same time! I was so confused, all I could do was smile, hug her and say "everything is going to be alright!" |
