Jessica Gavin Degraw is a genius. I remember the first time I heard the man sing. I was watching One Tree Hill and he was performing the song "I don't wanna be". I was blown away. After that, he quickly became one of my favorite musicians. Not only is he a very good looking guy, but his voice is incredible. It literally gave me chills the first time I heard it. In the few years since then, my opinion of his voice hasn't changed. Well, maybe it has a little. I have even more respect for his music now. I also find it very impressive that he writes his own lyrics. He doesn't write about the same things over and over like a lot of musician seem to do anymore. His lyrics have depth and are relatable to the average person. I believe that he makes a good role model for kids. He is proud of who he is and where he came from. I think that kids could learn a lot from listening to Gavin Degraw's music. |

Karen Gavin DeGraw, is one of those artists you can appreciate for his style of music and catchy songs, but there's nothing really great about him that makes you want to buy or hear the rest of his album. I have a couple of his songs on my iPod, and though I never get tired of listening to them, whenever I see him performing, there's nothing that gets me excited. It may sound harsh but his personality is just dull. |
