Micaela I'm a always a little sceptical about these things. However, with that being said I have no doubt that there are clever psychological tricks that you can use to manipulate people. I'm actually quite interested to find out what they might be.

Mike The LikeMe in-house reviewer here. Our community is all about getting people commenting on anything and everything related to a product. What I try to do is to come along and report on some cold hard facts. This allows you to decide yourself whether a product can be trusted. For Ex Boyfriend Guru, we know it was released on 29th May 2008, and we know a little something about the additional products they're selling from exboyfriendguru.com. At the moment they have 3 other products for sale, which for me means they aren't an excessively established vendor yet. Why don't we take a look at some more stats that we can gather. The payment processor is a good source of information and they put out a few valuable bits of data. First off, they have something they call 'Gravity', which provides us with a rough understanding of how the product is selling. I then take this number and compare it to the other products on this site - this lets us know how well the product is selling when compared to the others here. I refer to it as the 'sales rank' and it's out of 100 (where 100 is the best seller). Ex Boyfriend Guru has a gravity of 52.7357 and a sales rank of 85.90/100 which suggests it's a top selling product. Excellent info, but we still need more of an indication of the product's quality. Luckily I also have access to an approximation of this vendor's overall refund percentage. Good vendors have low refund rates, that's the main point here. So this is a rating from 1-5 where 5 stars means very few refunds. When it comes to new products or inadequate data a rating of 3 is applied. So, Ex Boyfriend Guru scores 3/5 which is inconclusive. Is there any other impartial data that we can use to judge this? Of course - what about the site itself exboyfriendguru.com? Why don't we have a look at how many web pages the website has and who's been linking to it? This should really help us get an idea of how established and how well-known a site it. Large websites with a lot of links pointing in are going to be more respected, it stands to reason. I've done a quick check and it looks like exboyfriendguru.com has approximately 87 pages on its website, suggesting that it is almost certainly a new-ish site. Needless to say, any web site could just add lots of pages without thinking about their quality. So we need an alternate way to assess the website. Well, let's take a trick out of Google's book and have a look at the quantity of backlinks they have and how trustworthy they are. A web site with plenty of backlinks generally means one that's been well received. exboyfriendguru.com has 2581 backlinks with an authority rank of 50.99/100, which signifies that the web site is reasonably authoritative. So with all this in mind you should be able to make a well-researched and confident decision about whether to buy or not. Based on all this information it is up to you whether you think Ex Boyfriend Guru is worth spending your hard earned cash on, but don't forget to let us know what you have chosen. Mike was reviewing:
