Susan The marketing tactics of this site are to try and get your email by offering a free video in exchange. I must say that this is a pretty good tactic as the homepage does well to build up the curiosity levels and entering an email seems a simple thing to do with the forms very clearly laid out. Overall, I rate this marketing approach 4 stars.

William For a person like me without an extra tire on the stomach, desperation on losing it doesn't hit me like a person who does. The website for this product is well laid off. The part where a number of individuals have lost a total of 467 pounds is quite promising. Apart from that, they don't try to lure visitors into buying by over-hyped commentaries. The fact that they've provided the 10 - component challenge system with its attached price value you get is a unique feature for the sake of customer’s confidence.

Karen Looking at the before and after pictures provided on the 1000 Calorie Challenge website, I am completely put off by the product as a whole. Most of the ‘before’ people don’t look anything like the ‘after’ people! Who do they think they’re kidding here?! My advice to anyone interested in the 1000 Calorie Challenge is to do A LOT of research on this product and read reviews before you buy it, and DON’T be fooled by these poorly photoshopped pictures.
