High School Musical review

Karen When I saw the trailer for the first High School Musical, I was intrigued. I love music, singing and dancing; and as a 16-year-old at the time, teenage movies with a romantic twist were one of the things that made my pulse race! After watching all 3 parts of the movie, I wasn't at all surprised at the immense popularity and rave reviews it acclaimed.
The storyline of each part was absolutely perfect. The writers and producers did well to incorporate the songs and dance routines in the most appropriate way. There was just the right blend of acting, singing and dancing; especially in the first High School Musical. The love affair between 'Troy' and 'Gabrielle' was handled well throughout the sequels, which for me, made them so much more enjoyable. The roles of 'Sharpay' and 'Ryan' may have been a bit predictable, but who doesn't love a deceitful bad girl and good-hearted mean boy in a teenage movie? Overall, I think the storyline is fantastically balanced in all 3 High School Musicals and truly deserved the recognition they got.

	Jessica I have young kids and was at first a little skeptical of this movie. I thought it would be cheesy. I have to agree with you Karen, it was a great movie. I haven't seen the other 2 parts, but after reading your review I think I will have to.

	Karen Glad you think so Jessica! I think you'd really enjoy the sequels but the first one probably has a slight edge over the other two. :)
